the local government area stretches from the corner of oxford street & barcom avenue Paddington then boundary street to neild avenue then rushcutters bay park along the harbour foreshore to south head, along the east coast to christison park joining old south head road at the junction with new south head road then the right hand side of old south head road becoming oxford street at syd einfield drive bondi junction returning to barcom avenue.

Woollahra is located on the southern foreshores of Sydney Harbour and is 12 sq.kms.
